ग़ज़ल (24-9-19)

 

कोई  दुआ  न  कोई  मन्नत  काम  आई  थी

इश्क़  में  मैंने  हर  तरकीब  आज़माई  थी 

 

उसकी धड़कनें पल भर के लिए भी न रुकीं

आवाज़  तो  इन  आँखों  ने  ख़ूब  लगाई  थी

 

ग़म बस इतना के उसने ही नहीं पहचाना

जिसकी ख़ातिर ये दुनिया मैंने भुलाई थी

 

अब किस किस से करूँ गिला दिल के बुझने का 

आँधी  में  शम्अ  तो  मैंने  ही  जलाई  थी
 

अरे दिल तो मेरा चुपके ही से धड़का था

बात  मगर  शेर-ओ-शायरी  ने  फैलाई  थी

English translation:

Ghazal (24-9-19)

 

Neither blessings nor vow worked,

I have tried each and every trick in love.

 

Though my eyes had given many shouts,

Her heart beats didn’t halt even for a moment.

 

It was only the grief that she refused to recognise me,

She, for her sake that i quit the entire world.

 

Now to whom should I go to discuss my plights,

I myself had kindled the candle in the winds.

 

My heart had throbbed very quietly,

But the secret that was spread by poetry.

 

Estoy loco, el amor es una locura
Así va este negocio
En las sombras del amor, todo el mundo es un pájaro...
Qué haces, eres tímido
Piðlī c cosas...
Piðlī estas noches, me hubiera hecho realidad
Estas noches, promesas, éxito están aquí...
